Fam. Dooms - Van Gijsel

An attempt to record the loss of a prosperous history of textile industry in Sint-Niklaas:
This family was one of the many who became unreal rich with a textile factory. At the height, about 100 people worked for them. Now this man and woman, both nonagenarians, have sold most of the factory to fade away between their banknotes.
A shadow, some empty spaces and three living rooms stuffed with expensive antiques are all that's left to remind us of a senseless richness.

The third and last band at the 'Open Stage' in Lokeren.
They played extremely powerful stonerrock for an enthusiast audience. And yes, the group has it's own website.

NOTE: I heard a few times that the photos of the gigs are extremely dark. This is definitely not true!
They are quite dark (because of the very poor available light), but not extreme. What you should know, is that my monitors are calibrated; this differs a lot from the standard factory settings. Most of the time if a photo looks good on a calibrated monitor, it looks dark on a non-calibrated one.

I'm not gonna bother with calibrating my monitor. The fotos look good enough to me, and I'll just have to suffer through not having them look GREAT.
I want to share with you that we recently saw the Trans Siberian Orchestra in concert, and they rocked, dude! Check 'em out....

After Quantum Fantay, this was the second band to play at the "Open Stage" in Lokeren.
I saw four enthousiastic young musicians who play straight-forward noiserock with some dirty hooks... and one subdued ballad.
Here's the website.
